“What Ever Happened to the 60s?” For those of us who lived through the 1960s, we each had our own experiences — there were many 60s, some appreciated, some not. For me there was individuality, freedom, expression, openness to other cultures (particularly Eastern cultures), exploration of alternative realities and consciousness. All of which are under repression today. The oppressive hand of the herd is upon us, today calling itself progressive.
